About
Juckette Racing
As a Registered 501(c)(3) organization,
Juckette Racing was created to provide the public, especially youth, with the knowledge and education of outdoor sports including dog sledding. It was created to give back to the community and teach the public as well as promote the sport of mushing, training athletes (including dogs), kennel care and management, the importance of a bond between a team, as well as how to survive the outdoors.
The Juckette Racing goal is to expand the public knowledge of mushing, dog health, and active outdoor living and lifestyle.
About the Musher
Aubrey Juckette
Aubrey's lifelong passion for sled dog racing began at a young age, attending races and now running her own sled dog team. In the summer, she volunteers and educates people about sled dogs through tours. Aubrey trains her dogs year-round for races, learning from mentors in the sport during the off-season.
- 6 dog Sport class at Tahquamenon (16miles) 2022
- the Team was trained up for running the Pro 25/16 mile class the last two years 2023 / 2024.
- Trained up to run will run the Deer Park Dash 6 dog pro 25 mile race
- Baldwin Sled Dog Derby Junior 3 dog (5.7miles) With the race cancelled last year it is rescheduled this year and she is planning to run the 8 dog 18 mile race in 2024
- Copper dog 30 (6 dog 16miles) 2 years 2022/2023
- 2024 Aubrey trained a team up for the 30 and the 15 mile races
- Beargrease Cub Run (3 miles – 3 dogs) 2020/2021/2022
- Aubrey was targeting the Beargrease 40 initially in 2024 until it was cancelled.
- Entered the 2024 Canam Crown 30 in 2024 that was also cancelled
- Entered the 2024 Great Northwoods challange that was cancelled
- Ashawa Classic (20 miles - 4 dog) 2022
- Among many other trainings runs and experiences due to many races being cancelled due to snow conditions.
- Many long training runs Including multiple 45+ mile campout runs with Laura Neese.
- Lynne Witte was also a common training partner throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

In conjunction with already having thousands of miles behind a dog team Aubrey and team has also achieved some pretty major accomplishments and milestones.
One of the largest was being invited to joint TEAM USA in 2025 to race in Norway representing USA mushing.

Musher Mentors (AKA Family)
From winter camping to summer fun, these two enjoy each other in all aspects of distance dog mushing and summers spent at MIDog giving tours and teaching the public about mushing.
Laura Bontrager
From having grown up similar to Aubrey with a passion for dog racing. Laura understands how to be an amazing mentor for Aubrey as she navigates this life of training and racing sled dogs.
Lynne Witte
These two spend lots of time on the trail training together. Talking and learning from each other. It’s always a joy to spend time with Lynne and her team on the trail all winter long.
Bruce Magnusson
The knowledge of all things dog related come from Bruce. From diet, training schedules, overcoming obstacles, Sled driving skills, team layout, grooming and anything else we need to know!!
With like personality these two get along really well and when it comes to sprint racing Mandy helps Aubrey learn the little important things that matter for dryland and sled racing.
These two Iditarod Veterans have helped Aubrey from Dressing for the weather to contacts and more for her future plans of Iditarod racing
